Bekro have been in business since 1966 and are widely regarded as the leading manufacturer of candle dye amongst professional candle manufacturers across Europe.
Bekro dye has minimal impact on burn performance whilst offering repeatable and rich colouring that is unsurpassed. Bekro dyes are RAL accredited, meaning they meet or exceed the most stringent standards within the candle industry.
We are delighted to offer these professional quality candle dyes to small businesses and hobbyists in the UK and EU.
Bekro dye is supplied in 10g bags and should be used at 0.2%, so each 10g bag will colour ~5kg of paraffin wax. A higher loading may be required in vegetable waxes (soy, rapeseed etc). The dye should be added to molten wax at a tempertaure hot enough to fully dissolve the dye. This is typically 65C-70C, although some dyes (especially red shades) may need the wax to be a bit hotter. There should be no need to exceed 80 Deg C.
Please note that the colours shown may vary from screen to screen. We recommend testing your chosen colour before placing any bulk orders.
